Situated just off the west coast of Mull, the Boathouse offers an unique dining experience for visitors on the picturesque island of Ulva.
Specialising in fresh local shellfish landed from the family fishing boat, and home baking made every day, we also serve a selection of home made soups, rolls and daily specials.
We are delighted that we will be opening for our eleventh season on Monday 3rd of April 2017. We are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with lunch being served between 12 and 4pm.
In June, July, and August, we will also be open Sundays between 9am and 5pm. The Ulva Ferry and the Boathouse are always closed on Saturday.
We look forward to welcoming our visitors back for another year, and meeting new ones for the first time.
All our best wishes,
We use only creel-caught shellfish; grow our own oysters; use only free range eggs in all our baking, cooking and mayonnaise; we bake all our cake and bread ourselves; we only use outdoor reared pork produce; only serve Fairtrade coffees, teas, and hot chocolate; and use local & Scottish meats and salmon.
In 2009, the Boathouse was recognised for this by winning the Scottish region of UKTV Food's "Local Food Hero" award.view menu
