Situated just off the west coast of Mull, The Boathouse offers an unique dining experience for visitors on the picturesque island of Ulva.
Specialising in fresh local shellfish landed from the family fishing boat, and home baking made every day, we also serve a selection of home made soups, rolls and daily specials.
Here at The Boathouse, we only use creel-caught shellfish; grown our own oysters; use only free range eggs in our baking, cooking and mayonnaise. All of our cakes and bread are baked by ourselves; our pork produce is reared outdoors, all of our Scottish meats and salmon are locally sourced and our coffee is Fairtrade too.
In 2009, The Boathouse was recognised for this by winning the Scottish region of UKTV Food’s “Local Food Hero” award. We are also rated 4.5 stars on Trip Advisor.
The Boathouse is open from April to early October, Monday to Friday, and Sundays in June, July and August. We are closed Saturdays.
